Palo Santo translates to “holy wood” in Spanish. It is a tree prized for its abilities to heal the body and mind. Native South Americans have used Palo Santo smoke for thousands of years for clearing bad energy from a space and for good luck. The Palo Santo powder used in our incense is sustainably sourced from a forest preserve in Ecuador. It has extremely high resin content found only in the heartwood of the branches of trees that have fallen naturally and matured on the forest floor for years.
