Whispering Sages

From ancient Egypt, to the Chinese emperors and the kings of France, all have praised the virtues of sage. The Romans referred to sage as the holy herb, and employed it in their religious rituals. The term sage means wise, as sage has so many medicinal and energetic actions. The Latin word for sage salvia means to heal. When sage is burned, it releases negative ions, which are linked to putting people into a positive mood. It is also believed that burning of sage brings wisdom, clarity and increases spiritual awareness.
